Best time for study

For every student, the best time to study and memorize is ambiguous. Some students can concentrate in the morning, some can in the evening whereas some are night owls when it comes to studying. Self-assessment is useful to determine – which time of the day you can concentrate better, fewer distractions as well as the level of alertness.

Consistency: To evaluate the perfect time to study and focus consistently takes effort at a particular time. E.g. Get up early at 5 in the morning, read, learn, write. Repeat this for at least 2 weeks to figure out whether you can focus better. If it does not work, you should change the timing, or else you will get adapted to this particular routine.

If you regularly work at a specific time, your brain and body will be alert at that time and you can observe improved quality of work. Body and mind will get used to the timing and give a better response. This way students can develop their schedule to study.

Some students prefer studying continuously for 3 to 4 hours whereas students with a short span of attention, but quick grasping capacity divide their timetable as per the level of concentration corresponding to the time of the day.

But to succeed in any exam consistency is key and students should dedicate a timeframe every day to study.

Distractions: It is another factor; students have to consider depending on the level of distractions and circumstances. E.gContinuous noise of traffic, railway stations, machinery, construction, and crowded places can cause difficulty to concentrate. For such matters, students need to fix their study timetable accordingly and stick to it.
